Staff Cybersecurity Awareness Training

Why: Cybersecurity is not just about technical security. Your staff are a key layer of defence. The vast majority of attacks succeed because a human has been fooled.

What: Your staff need to be trained so they understand why and how they are targeted, and how to spot the warning signs.

Why me: You can tick the box by asking staff to flick through a generic CBT course, or to play a pre-recorded session on their laptop while they go away to make a cup of tea. But if you want to effectively improve your human defences, you need engaging and consumable training material that is delivered in plain English. You could do it yourself but it is time-consuming and you may not have the knowledge to answer any follow-up questions. You could ask your IT MSP to deliver the training, but most MSPs focus on the wrong things and miss the key messages that need to land with your staff. I have the skill and experience to deliver a far more effective session.

How: Online webinar format (via Zooms or MS Teams), where I explain in plain English why and how staff are targeted, and how they can defend themselves. Q&A is allowed throughout the session, so staff get immediate answers to their questions.

How Long: The training usually lasts about 45 minutes, but it should be scheduled for 60 minutes in case the Q&A requires more time.

Fee: Starts from €750 for up to 10 attendees. €100 per additional block of 5 attendees. (All pricing excludes Irish VAT). The actual fee will be influenced by the specific training needs of your organisation, and any additional requirements you may have (e.g. detailed pre-session prep meetings: record of attendance; certificates of completion).
