Do you worry about your cybersecurity, but don’t have the techie knowledge or the time to sort it out?

If you work for yourself, I know your challenges.

I am not sitting here in a flashy office, shouting at dozens of minions to get me a coffee.

Just like you, I have to juggle my time between

  • Working for my clients
  • Nurturing prospects in the hope of generating new business
  • And doing all the really fun stuff that comes with running a business – Who doesn’t love a good tax return?

It’s tough to find the time to ensure I am protecting myself and my clients from the bad guys.

And yet, I know that if I suffer a cybersecurity attack, it could be a career-ending situation.

My business is based on my professional reputation.

If my reputation is damaged, my business is damaged.

And the damage could be terminal.

And yet, managing my own cybersecurity will always take a back seat when there’s client work to be done.

Do you want to nail cybersecurity, so you can get back to your ‘real’ job?

Do you want to be confident that you have a strong cybersecurity foundation that the bad guys will struggle to break through?

Despite your lack of ‘cyber’ know-how and lack of time, do you want to know you have done enough to reduce the risk of being the next victim of a cyber attack?

Cybersecurity Without Insanity (CWI) – Solo Edition

I have identified ways to minimise the time required to manage my cybersecurity defences, so I can maximise the time available for ‘real’ work.

By implementing some simple but effective defences, I know I have taken reasonable steps to minimise the risk of being the next victim to the most common cybersecurity attacks.

And now I know I can focus my time doing ‘real’ work.

It’s not ‘Enterprise Grade’ security. If James Bond wants to break in, he will break in.

But for most of us, James Bond has no interest in us.

We should be far more concerned about the online criminal looking for a payoff.

And this is where my ‘Cybersecurity Without Insanity’ programme comes in.

What is it?

My Cybersecurity Without Insanity (CWI) programme will show you how to implement a very strong cybersecurity foundation as quickly and effectively as possible.

Who is it for?

The programme is designed for people who work for themselves, or work as part of a small team where each individual is responsible for their own cybersecurity.

The programme is specifically designed for ‘normal’ people who do not have a formal qualification in IT or cybersecurity.

Programme participants usually rely on a Windows or Mac laptop and a smartphone to perform their work.

They have an email account and they usually rely on a number of online services (e.g. for online banking, file sharing, accounts, invoicing etc).

They may also have a basic brochure-type website.

Is it for you?

Yes, if you don’t want to become a cybersecurity expert and you just want to know the steps required to ensure you are not an easy target.

You want clear instructions in Plain English.

No jargon. No black magic. Just simple, pragmatic guidance.

How is the programme delivered?

The programme is run over 10 weeks.

  • Each week, you will receive a short tutorial video that walks you through a particular security step. In each video, I explain why the step is important and how to implement it.
  • Each video will be supplemented by step-by-step guides and checklists that will help you to complete the recommended step.

I provide support via email to answer any questions you have.

I also run a live ‘Ask Me Anything’ 1-hour online meeting every fortnight, where I work through any common questions or challenges encountered by participants.

Don’t worry if you can’t attend a live session – You will be able to watch a recording at a time that suits you.

How much does it cost?

The programme fee is €295.

Are there any other costs?

My security recommendations do not require you to buy lots of new ‘stuff’  – The main cost is usually just your time.

When does it start?

I run the programme every 6-8 weeks.

If you register your interest below, I will let you know when registration for the next programme is about to open.

You will also get a code for Early Bird pricing, which may entitle you to a 30% discount on the fee.

What if it does not suit your needs?

You can email me at any time during the programme and request a refund.

Your fee will be refunded – No questions asked.

Anything else you need to know?

I restrict the number of participants in each cohort of the programme, to ensure I can provide timely support to everyone.

Each place is guaranteed when payment of the fee is received.

How do I apply?

Register your interest here and I will let you know when the programme is open for registration.

Unless you have ticked the 'subscribe' box above, I will only use your information for this programme. I will not communicate with you for any other purpose without your consent. For more information, take a look at my Data Protection Policy.
