The 5-Day Microsoft 365 Security Review

If you rely on Microsoft 365, have you ever wondered if the security of the environment is up to scratch?

Well, wonder no more!

Register for a free course that shows you how to find out for yourself.

What is it?

I have assessed dozens of Microsoft 365 tenants over the years.  While there are lots (and lots) of security settings that I check in my assessments, there are a small number that I always check first because they provide immediate insight into the security of the environment.

In this short course, I will show you how to perform these same checks.

What’s involved?

Each day for 5 days, you will receive a short lesson on a specific thing to check in your Microsoft 365 environment, and why this check is important.

  • Each lesson will take you 10 minutes or less.
  • You do not need to be a tech whizz. Each lesson will include a step-by-step guide written in Plain English for ‘normal people’.
  • And if you get stuck, I will only be an email away.

What’s the benefit?

You will no longer have to rely on someone else telling you that your Microsoft 365 environment is secure.

You will know how to check it yourself.

When does it start?

The next course starts on Monday, December 4th.

Frequently-Asked Questions

Don’t worry – You will not be able to cause any damage to your Microsoft 365 environment.

You will only have read-only access, so you can’t make any changes.

Requesting read-only access also means your Microsoft 365 administrator is less likely to refuse your request.

And if they do refuse, this may be a red flag about the security of your environment.

If you don’t have the time or the interest to to do this yourself, our Microsoft 365 Security Assessment service may be a good option for you.

No – You will not need to buy any additional Microsoft licences. The account you will be using does not require a licence.

This course is for ‘normal people’ and focuses on quick, simple checks that they can perform.

If you work for an IT MSP (Managed Service Provider), if you manage Microsoft 365 for anyone other than your employer, or you provide advice on Microsoft 365, this course is not for you.

Get in touch and I can point you at more detailed reference material that will show you the nitty-gritty on how to manage Microsoft 365 security.

No. (Although we would say that, wouldn’t we!)

When the course is finished, unless you are a subscriber on the Code in Motion mailing list, you won’t hear from us again.
