After my last email about the Pareto Principle, someone asked how could I be certain that 4% of security measures could address 64% of the risks?

And I’ll admit…

I’m not certain.

It’s just a rule of thumb that could motivate you to take action.

But if the Pareto Principle doesn’t work for you, here’s another one:

If you don’t even put this 4% in place…

You’re probably exposed to 100% of the risks.

How’s that for motivation?
